About 5:30 a.m. Sunday, a car rolled from a parking lot into an electrical box outside a vacant Milwaukee building, according to WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee. Firefighters arrived on the scene and put out the fire caused by the crash that was consuming the car, and had the car towed to a city lot. About three hours later, an attendant at the lot reported seeing a body in the back seat of the car, which the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office later identified as 21-year-old Jenna Reichartz, WTMJ reported. Milwaukee police told WTMJ that surveillance video from a nearby gas station showed Reichartz's car moving slowly through

(KOLO/Gray News) - There was no look of surprise, rather Veteran Ron Selby’s first reaction upon getting a free car was thanking the crew at CoAuto in Reno, Nevada for making it happen. And after talking to him, the news could not have come at a better time. “You know I am in and out of the hospital a lot because I have nerve damage and stuff,” says Selby. “And financially it is just hard to rise above and do stuff like this. https://sites.google.com/view/arizona-car-maintanence-method/home Korean automaker Kia has switched off the wireless “telematic” data systems of its new cars sold in Massachusetts, as a way to comply with the state’s controversial right-to-repair law. Kia’s policy was revealed by Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey in documents submitted to Boston federal court last Friday. Healey is fighting a lawsuit filed by the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, an association of the world’s top carmakers, which seeks to overturn the right-to-repair law. Kia is following the example of Japanese car company Subaru, which adopted a similar strategy last year. It’s unclear when Kia adopted its policy, but an October 2021 press release from the company warned that the wireless feature, called Kia Connect, “may currently be unavailable for Model Year 2022 and newer vehicles sold or purchased in Massachusetts.” Advertisement According to a statement issued Thursday by Kia America, “The new law

https://tow-efficiently.blogspot.com/2022/01/bmw-alpina-roadster-v8-sells-for-over.html Americans were willing to pay $900 more than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for nonluxury new cars in November 2021, pushing the average transaction price for a new car to a record-breaking $43,144. The sharp uptick in the amount of money paid for a new vehicle comes amid several factors, including continued low inventories of new cars and strong demand for pricey SUV models in particular. Demand for passenger cars rather than SUVs, vans, and trucks has plummeted. Cars accounted for just 22% of sales in November, compared with 30% as recently as the same month in 2018.
